Computers and Old Ways
The world has gotten too big to catalog. Always was, really, the hubris of scientists to get every little animal a name has been never ending. But what about if we made the machines do it. If we made a machine and called it Adam and had it name every creature then maybe we could really do something with the cosmos. We could play at being gods, finally.

Introducing LAIbrary
While we have been using various virtual intelligences for a while now including Google Gemini and Microsoft's Copilot, a few months ago our own tech team developed LAIbrary, our very own library artificial intelligence. We are excited to announce that we have given it control of all customer facing projects to not only better serve our patrons but to reduce the amount of times we have to say where the bathroom is. We will also be giving LAIbrary control over the shelving drones and purchasing accounts to really get rid of all the waste in the library.
Back to School Jam-boree
In honor of several local schools opening back up for the new year, we are holding a Jam-boree for all those at home moms who have no idea what to do with all the quiet and joy they are left with. Of course, this will be a normal Jam-boree with all the normal decorations and refreshments but feel free to bring anything you wish to share. We will meet in the library veranda at dusk and file one by one into the normal forest behind the library as usual.
